Coyote at Village of Oak Creek – Tracy Hill
Only Tracy Hill could put a coyote in the middle of Sedona country and make it look like he’s serenading the entire desert.
In “Coyote at Village of Oak Creek,” Tracy takes one of the Southwest’s most recognizable characters and gives him center stage. A bright blue coyote throws his head toward the sky beneath a glowing moon, surrounded by the dramatic red-rock landscape of Arizona’s Village of Oak Creek near Sedona.
Bold oranges, blues, purples, and greens turn the familiar desert landscape into Tracy’s wonderfully quirky version of the Southwest. His heavy black lines and playful proportions give the coyote plenty of personality while the colorful red rocks make the setting unmistakably Arizona.
