About the Artist

Alessandra Benefico is an Arizona desert dweller, though originally from Milan , Italy. She left Italy to work a campaign for a cruise company. Her contributions to the campaign helped the company grow eventually bringing her to the United States for career opportunities. So, she migrated to Los Angeles in 1985.Just a year later she decided she did not like that life as she did not find it peaceful, so she quit and moved to the desert of Arizona. In Arizona, among lots of crawling critters, she spends her time making Raku, kaleidoscopes, paintings, and fused glass artwork. She loves all things that draw light and beauty.
