"SpaceX Launch Prescott View:" For the first time in my life, I was able to witness and try to photograph the SpaceX Launch from Vandenberg, CA. I did not know what lens to use or the path it was going to take, and was happy to capture its trail appearing from so may miles away over Thumb Butte in Prescott. Politics aside, whether you agree with the launch missions or not, the technology and intelligence involved in soaring a rocket into space and sending off satellites and then returning the rocket back to a very precise landing point, are all undeniably amazing accomplishments to me.
